Release Notes

Description

Here is the latest official release of the mvcajax plugin and the MvcContrib Ajax Sorting/Paging demonstration project. This zipped demonstration project includes the mvcajax plugin, along with:
  • a sample sorting controller
  • the PageDropDown HtmlHelper extension
  • a scrollable grid w/ fixed header labels

Packages

jquery.mvcajax.js.zip
  • jquery.mvcajax.js plugin file
  • Content/Images/ASC.gif
  • Content/Images/DESC.gif
  • Content/fixedtable.css
  • Content/site.css

MvcContribJquery.zip
  • all jquery.mvcajax.js.zip content
  • additional solution files, controllers, views, etc.
  • sample data in App_Data

Changed in this version:
  • Fixed issue Intermittent conflict with new application variables
    • Surely I know the difference between trailing and leading slashes by now. It helps to properly communicate that.
    • Added README.TXT to help with learning how to use the two new variables tucked inside jquery.mvcajax.js
  • Fixed (in 1.1) issue Only works on home page...
    • added the "imagedir" and "applicationname" configuration variables.
      • "imagedir" maintains the path (from root) of images used in the ajax UX i.e. "Content/Images/"
      • "applicationname" maintains the path (from root domain, i.e. window.location.host) of an application i.e. "MvcContribJQuery/"
